What FINPECIA 1MG is used for?
- FINPECIA 1MG is used in the treatment and control of benign (i.e., non-cancerous) enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia - BPH)

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
- Are allergic to?finasteride or any other ingredients of this medicine
- Are already taking this medicine or any other 5- Alpha Reductase Inhibitor for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or any other condition
- Have a large amount of residual urine in your bladder after urinating and/or severely reduced urinary flow. If this is the case, you should be closely monitored for narrowing of the urinary tract
- Have impaired liver function
- Have a blood test called PSA (Prostate-specific antigen test used to detect prostate cancer)
- FINPECIA 1MG are only intended for men. It should not be taken by women
- FINPECIA 1MG is not intended for the use in children
- There is no information to suggest that FINPECIA 1MG affect the ability to drive and using machines

- If you forget to take FINPECIA 1MG, take it as soon as you remember
- If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
- Do not take two doses at the same time

- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to stop your treatment
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
Serious
- Allergic reaction such as swelling of your lips, face, tongue and throat, difficulties in swallowing and breathing, lumps under your skin (hives), rash, itching
- Depression
- Changes in the breast tissue such as lumps, pain, enlargement of the breast tissue or nipple discharge as these may be signs of a serious condition, such as breast cancer
Common
- Palpitations
- Pain in the testicles
- Fast heart beat
- Persistent difficulty having an erection after discontinuation of treatment
- Persistent decrease in sex drive after discontinuation of treatment
- Persistent problems with ejaculation after discontinuation of treatment
Uncommon
- Less desire to have sex
- Difficulty having an erection
- Problems with ejaculation such as a decrease in the amount of semen released during sex
