It is used to treat,

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

  • Are allergic to escitalopram oxalate or citalopram hydrobromide or any of the ingredients in this medicine
  • Have liver, kidney or heart problems
  • Have or had seizures or convulsions
  • Have bipolar disorder or mania
  • Have a history of a stroke
  • Have low sodium levels in your blood
  • Have or had bleeding problems
  • Are an alcoholic

Pregnancy & Breast Feeding

  • It is not known if NEXITO 10MG will harm your unborn baby or pass into your breast milk
  • If you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant or breast feeding, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine

Driving & Using Machines

  • You should not drive, operate heavy machinery or do other dangerous activities until you know how NEXITO 10MG affects you

 Interactions

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

  • Triptans used to treat migraine headache
  • Tricyclics, lithium, SSRIs, SNRIs, amphetamines, or antipsychotics, medicines used to treat mood, anxiety, psychotic or thought disorders
  • Tramadol
  • Warfarin
  • NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen or aspirin used to treat pain and inflammation

 How to Use
  • Take NEXITO 10MG exactly as prescribed. Your healthcare provider may need to change the dose of NEXITO 10MG until it is the right dose for you
  • It may be taken with or without food
  • Take it in the morning since it can keep you awake if taken late at night.
  • Talk to your doctor if you notice sudden mood changes or develop suicidal thoughts.
  • It?has a lower chance of causing sexual dysfunction than other similar medications.
  • The addiction or dependence potential of Nexito 10 Tablet is very less.
  • Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor first.
  • Some people can develop dizziness or drowsiness after taking this medicine. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you

  • If you take too much NEXITO 10MG, contact your doctor or go to nearest hospital

If you forget to take NEXITO 10MG

  • If you forget to take NEXITO 10MG, take it as soon as you remember
  • If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose
  • Do not take two doses at the same time

If you stop taking NEXITO 10MG

  • Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to stop your treatment

  • New or sudden changes in mood, behavior, actions, thoughts or feelings
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Agitation, hallucinations, coma or other changes in mental status
  • Coordination problems or muscle twitching (overactive reflexes)
  • Racing heartbeat, high or low blood pressure
  • Sweating or fever, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
  • Muscle rigidity
  • Trouble breathing
  • Swelling of the face, tongue, eyes or mouth
  • Rash, itchy welts (hives) or blisters, alone or with fever or joint pain
  • Excessive happiness or irritability
  • Talking more or faster than usual

If you accidentally take more than the recommended dose of Nexito, seek immediate medical attention in a nearby hospital or call your doctor immediately. The symptoms of overdose dizziness, tremor, agitation, convulsion, coma, nausea, and vomiting. You may also experience change in heart rhythm, decreased blood pressure and change in body fluid/salt balance.
