- EDASTAR is used to treat people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
Warning & Precautions
Talk to your doctor before taking EDASTAR, if you:
- Are allergic to edaravone or any of the ingredients in EDASTAR
- Have asthma
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Children & Adolescents
- It is not known if EDASTAR is safe and effective in children
- Ask a doctor before using EDASTAR in children
Interactions
- Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements
How to Use
- You will be prescribed EDASTAR by a healthcare provider
- EDASTAR will be given as intravenous (IV) infusion into your vein by doctor or nurse
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
- Allergic reactions suh as hives, itching, swelling of the lips, tongue, face
- Breathing problems or wheezing
- Dizziness or fainting
More Information
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store at room temperature (15-25oC)
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
