How Ibrutix Ibrutinib 140 mg Capsule Works
Ibrutinib, the active ingredient in Ibrutix, works by blocking the activity of a specific protein called Bruton’s tyrosine kinase, or BTK. Bruton’s tyrosine kinase is a protein found in your B cells. It sends “signals” that help B cells to survive and multiply. By blocking BTK, this generic medicine helps kill and reduce the number of cancerous B-cells. This stops or slows the progression of cancer.
