What NIZONIDE 500MG is used for?
- It is indicated for the treatment of diarrhea
Warning & Precautions
Talk to your Doctor, if you:
- Are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- Have hepatic, biliary or renal disease
- Are 65 years of age and older
- Have HIV infected or have an immune disease (such as AIDS)
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Children & Adolescents
- This medicine is not recommended to children and adolescents under 11 years of age
Interactions
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- Tizoxanide (used to treat diarrhoea)
- Warfarin (used to prevent blood clots)
How to Use
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
If you take more?NIZONIDE 500MG
- If you take more medicine than you should, talk to a doctor immediately
If you forget to take?NIZONIDE 500MG
- Take your next dose at the usual time, and then keep taking your medicine as your doctor has told you. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
?If you stop taking?NIZONIDE 500MG
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
Common
- Abdominal pain, headache, chromaturia and nausea
